Destrier placed second in the Human Powered Division with a throw of 1534.91 ft at the World Championship of Punkin Chunkin that took place November 4-6. This new personal record beat our second best throw by over 300ft!

DESTRIER ON SCIENCE
In October, Team Destrier participated in two shoots for the Science Channel. The first will be a commercial promoting the upcoming coverage of the World Championship of Punkin Chunkin in Delaware this November. The second shoot was for a feature called The Road to Punkin Chunkin and features a number of teams in their preparations for the chunk. Look for Destrier on Science Channel this Thanksgiving.

Team Destrier is currently hard at work getting ready for the chunk this November throwing bowling balls for practice, as well as making a few last minute tweaks to the machine.

Punkin Chunkin 2011 Special
If you've been watching Science Channel this month, you probably know that the month of November is better known as Chunktember. Fat Jimmy was featured this year on The Road To Punkin Chunkin with his own machine, High X, as well as acting as the DJ in the 'Chunk It' promos that are airing.
Don't forget to watch the Punkin Chunkin specials on the Discovery channel and Science Channel on Thanksgiving. They have several shows and they start at 6:30 PM. Watch Destrier and Pumpkin Slayer battle for 1st place in the human powered division. They will rerun the program several times so if you miss it, check your local listings.
